Our school network setup is said to be the best setup among all the school in our city. The network professionals in our city held a contest where the best network setup will going win the price and this makes my professor interested to setup the network of our school the best way that he can. My professor asks to help him in setting up all the things that he needed and all the things that will be necessary for it. It is an opportunity for me because at that time my knowledge in computer networking is so limited that’s why I grab that opportunity to improve my knowledge on networking.

We also think and consider the different kinds of network setup that is possible for us to use, that’s why we again research the things and facts of every network topology. Setting up a network in a certain place needs also a consideration like what is the kind of place that computers are situated and because of these we observe the place where the computer are situated. We have decided to make and star topology network setup in our school because we have notice that all of the computer are situated near in the middle of the room and having a star topology network in the school will save some money.

We place a Dedicated server in the middle of the room to serve most of the task necessary, but it make us think to put some dedicated servers so the work will be easier but we still decide to have only one dedicated server like what dedicated server web hosting do.
